E-Maintenance Suite

Since the aircraft is the primary asset that actually earns revenue for an airline, it is absolutely necessary to keep it in the air and productive as much as possible. The ADF E-Maintenance Suite of applications operates within the Mobile Solutions product line to provide airlines with improved reporting, response and analysis of events affecting the airworthiness of its fleet.

Key benefits include:

  • Timely ENCON reporting
  • Detailed ETOPS analysis
  • Rapid fault isolation/response
  • Automated MOQA input
  • Enhanced discrepancy reporting
  • Improved engine lease leverage

The modules that comprise this suite are:

Engine Condition Reporting (ENCON)

Provides the flight crew with the means of easily reporting a series of predefined data points for each flight that are digitally transmitted from the mobile computing devices to the central server for analysis and reporting. If satellite-enabled, this data can be collected in real time from any point on the globe.

ETOPS Checklist

Federal air regulations require that twin engine aircraft engaged in extended flights must receive extensive preflight and maintenance releases before the flight. The ADF E-Maintenance Suite provides a checklist to guide a technician through the required checks and log the completion of each task. The completed checklist becomes the basis for the required maintenance release.

Discrepant Reporting

Provides a means for crew or maintenance technicians to log aircraft discrepancies and the appropriate customized fault routing code (from a drop down menu). The data is transmitted to the central server for routing and archiving. The module can be interfaced to fault isolation or maintenance systems for accuracy and ease of processing.

Digital Imaging

Handheld devices (PDAs) with built-in cameras can provide clear digital images of events and/or conditions that need to be communicated to a central operations control center or routed as needed for regulatory compliance.

Maintenance System Interface

The ADF E-Maintenance Suite has been designed with an open architecture to permit interface with any modern maintenance system that has been similarly designed. This capability eliminates the need for manual intervention and error-prone redundant entry of data.
